Shih Fu Eileen Hancock founded Lifelong Health, Inc. in 2014 with a goal of spreading the ancient arts of Tai Chi & Qi Gong as a complementary and integrative medicine approach.
Shih Fu Hancock studied psychology with an emphasis in Neuroscience and Behavioral Genetics at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In 2004, Shih Fu interned at the UC Davis Medical Center doing cancer research. At the research center, she cultivated and treated cancer cells with the most innovative and experimental drugs at that time, such as docetaxel. During research, Shih Fu noted the countless times that flasks of cancer cells died due to oxygen exposure.
Later in 2004, Shih Fu founded Body Balance Academy to spread the ancient arts of Tai Chi, Qi Gong & Kung Fu for health and wellbeing. Shih Fu loves to surf and created a sister location, Pura Vida Tai Chi & Kung Fu for immersion training in Ostional, Costa Rica.
Shih Fu’s grand vision is to harmonize humankind and the world through the ancient teachings.
