Lifelong Health is collaborating with Women of Worth to begin a Self Defense / Health & Wellbeing Program for women escaping domestic violence at Body Balance Academy. This program begins in December 2022 and will be held regularly.

Lifelong Health, Inc. offers classes to people for health and well being regardless of economic status, sponsored by Body Balance Academy. Since 2019 Body Balance Academy has been sponsoring programs for cancer patients and cancer survivors. Now, with mental health challenges reaching an all time high, Lifelong Health is expanding the program to mediate anxiety, depression and other mental health needs.

In our modern world there is a mental health epidemic. Often the people who have the greatest need for martial arts and a safe place to be have limited resources.

This scholarship is open to people of all ages and will provide one year of basic Kung Fu training with Body Balance Academy.

You can sponsor a child to learn focus, discipline and self-respect through our Kung Fu Scholarship Program. Your sponsorship allows students with limited resources to train at Body Balance Academy which focuses on leadership, virtue and community through martial arts.

In December 2020, in response to the pandemic Lifelong Health, INC. partnered with Tao Te Café to create the Food Fellowship Program. The Tao Te Café Food Fellowship is a program through Lifelong Health, Inc., specifically designed to help food-insecure members of our community access fresh, local, healthy food.

We work with local farms and restaurants to make sure that no food is wasted and more families are well-nourished in Nevada County, CA.
